CFM is a credential for facility management professionals. There is a 180 question exam that is competency based, not knowledge based.
The exam asks questions and gives you five correct answers and asks you to select the best two or three answers. It covers Leadership, Project Management, Finance, Environmental Factors, Real Estate, Communication, Technology, Quality Assessment and Operations and Maintenance.
There are only a little more than 3100 people in the world who have gotten the certification. I also have my professional engineering license. So if you know a fortune 100 company looking for a Vice President of Facilities I'm your guy
I'm hoping it helps me in job advancement in the next few years.
