No, but have you ever heard of it? close more like Blood sausage, had all the left overs of the hog after butcher, tongue, brains, heart, lungs, blood. They ground it all together, stuffed it in old cotton socks and made rolls out of it, then smoked it. Yes, we did wash the socks. But man the sight of that old hogs head boiling out in a old wash tub over an open flame, made me think of hell, as a kid I was just waiting for the demons and witches to start dancing around, but as I said, for breakfast fried with apples oh heaven. Getting me going now, I'm going to find that old recipe and make up a batch the next time we butcher."I'll share it with you, when I dig through G-ma's recipes" Just can't let the tradition die, just an old German ya know! Never had the Scrapple that I know of, but then again G-ma just said try it you will like it, so heaven only know what I have eaten! Coon, coyote, canned meat "Crow" The family has been through some tough times and didn't let anything go to waste.
On the drinking side just had some stuff that a friend brought back as a gift from China, Scorpion Venom is what they told him was in it! came in a pretty cobalt blue bottle with some gold scroll about a pint I'd guess had a couple of shots, and man was it nasty and addictive, smelled like doe urine fermented, had some really weird dreams that night
