I'm hoping to hit it within the next 3 weeks. Got a new scope I need get used to and having a REAL scope is going to be something new to me so I'm looking forward to a productive and slow range day rather than the "blasters" I'm used to.
Since I got an "incredible" deal on a 6.5-20 x 50mm Burris Scope, I spose I'm gonna have to concentrate a bit more on using the SAME hole over and over rather than making new ones all the time...

Using the same hole over and over saves a lot on targets.
Went this past weekend. Both days to different ranges. Had to hump it in because the road was closed and not plowed (they have this white crap all over them). I took the pistols one day and the AR10, AR15, and shotgun the other day. I NEEDED MY FIX. I have some stuff ordered to make that Tannerite recipe I saw on another post. That and I got some of these (

) that are great to shoot at. Supposed to be nice this weekend too. Might have to sneak out again.

I'm getting a new optic in the mail TODAY - can't wait to get home! - and I'm planning to go out and zero it next Tuesday.
In all honesty, with my limited experience with scopes, I'm afraid I'd come across like a 16 year old kid that just got his license, took out his mother's station wagon and is now going to try and write an article about pursuit driving...
I'll leave the technical articles to you guys...
It has been way too long a time for Me.Somehow, while I was in Alaska,My M1A1 has a different scope on it,I`m like, what the heck, the only other that can get into the vault is My eldest boychild, welp, the Sightron scope is on the shelf in the vault so I`n thinking He wanted to try something different,so now,I too get to try something different. :funnypost:
I did manage to pick up Me another pistol,a High Standard SuperMatic Trophy model that I haint got to poke any holes in anything with yet so that`ll be a must doo too.
Might be tomorrow affernoon`d be a good time, especially if it is kike it was today, almost tipped 70 on the F scale. :cowboy: Might need to load it all onto the Harley and do a dual purpose journey.
Man, a gun rack on a Harley! Now that is when you know you have arrived! I have this mental picture of a nice fat tail with a custom rack, maybe made out of welded chrome chain where the passenger seat back normally is, and a nice M1A in a locked and padded rest. If you have something like that already.....

I haven't ridden in years. Had a guy I took out shark fishing about 7 years ago offer to let me ride his for a day. Brand new fat boy. Took the wife out for a good long ride, brought it back full O gas and that was the last time I've been in the wind.
I can't say I miss it really. I've kinda "lost the song" for riding I think.
Once I got back into owning boats and cruising the ocean, I just sort of found my "God" and peace far from roads I think...
Carrying a rifle strapped to your scooter must bring a few eyes on ya sometimes though..
