Since January 1 I actually have stuck to an exercise program. I am doing an hour and a half on an elliptical trainer or a treadmill every day. with some weight lifting sit-ups and occasional walks besides. So far I have dropped 12 pounds and really improved my cardiovascular reserve.I am aiming to drop 50 lbs total by my 65th birthday (10 months). Have a lot more energy, and my 3 point sling on my AR10 is starting to feel more comfortable. The improved cardiovascular conditioning I think will help my shooting accuracy- at least I hope. Anybody else got workout reports?

Im doing pretty good. My progress has slowed since classes started but I haven't lost progress either. My cardio still sucks.

I think I ate some salad while out to dinner about 2 weeks ago and shoveled my driveway today. Does that count?

And yes, I DO consider 27 inches deep from my back door and the entire driveway a work-out...

No snow blower... :(

I've been doing a lot more biking. I picked up an S-Works 29er MTB last month, and it rocks! Today I rode to town and cruised the Mardi Gras parade route, visited a couple of buddies that had spots there, and drank some pretty good beer. 15 miles, no problemo. I'd ride every day if the dang weather would cooperate.
