Be careful buying Ammo... was created by BUILDING MY SASS
Hey guys, if you buy any Pistol ammo be careful and check it, being Federal champion pistol ammo. I bought two boxes the other day at walmart of .45 ACP and just went to dump them into my ammo can...dumped the first 50 and notice a silver Primer....45s have brass colored...it turns out to be a Factory Screw up...they were .40 Smiths..
So a word to the wise...open it and check it, with the extreme buying going on...an OOPS was bound to happen....
Sucked having to dig 50 out of 300.. :mad:

You didn't get any lot numbers did you? I've got 8 boxes of it stashed that I bought this summer. I hate to break them open but I'd hate it even more if I broke them open when I needed them and found something I can't shoot!
I had been buying the Winchester white box but got a few boxes that were a tad long and gave me jams from slide-lock. I guess the ideas of cheap and reliable are just not going to go together anymore!

Don't know if they still have it, but Target Sports USA had some good prices on Remington Golden Sabre in 45, 40, and 9mm.

I'm gonna look for the link and it'll take me forever but you guys DO know that WallyWorld contributes MILLIONS of dollars every year to PETA and other land grab organizations that are trying to pull hunting out of business and make as much land as possible off limits to hunters and fisherman.

This is a real thing and they take all the money you spend on Ammo, guns and fishing tackle and use it to make it impossible for you to use any of the stuff you just bought.

Just food for thought guys. Every single time you buy at Walmart, you are contributing to people who would take your rights from you - quietly and happily.

I checked the boxes, the only numbers I found were "hand written" they are,
EZ7R35 AND J11R1. I checked the boxes against some I bought along time ago and all the other #s are the same....Funny thing, I check some of the other brands I have bought and they all actually have it printed...LOT #...If I were you I would hassle with pulling them out and check them...I am going to contact Federal and let them know about this...OOPS..
As for cheap and reliable....they are both from my point...as for the Winchester WT Box...I buy it as well but I think it is much Dirtier than the Federal...

That is true with about ALL mega Corps anymore...they donate money to certain causes and promote how they help the American people but in the dark corners they are sharpening the axes....

If there are other "Mega Corps" like Walmart that sell guns, ammunition, fishing tackle and other outdoor and sporting equipment of this nature and then donate MILLIONS of dollars every year to put all of our hunting, fishing and shooting lands off limits, I would be VERY interested in knowing who those companies ARE BMS.

Other than Walmart, what other big retail chains do you know of that do this kind of thing AND sell what we all use?

I personally would love to know who they are so I can stop giving them my money.

I wasn't just talking about "Retailers"....Take Cerberus / Freedom Group...they own half of the gun companies and donate millions to Anti gunners and their greedy politicians.... Same with the oil companies...Banks...they all stoke you while they work to take away our rights and stab America in the back...They all have their hands in the dirt...
