This explanation does not jive with my experience having spent months using only my small intestines. I've had colostomy bags on two occasions. If your not familiar a colostomy is when they by-pass your colon, they take a loop of your small intestine and secure it with a few stitches to the outside of your belly. They cut a slit in it and secure a bag over it with something like duct tape. All your gas and waste then exit there. It is the smelliest "crap" I have ever smelled, made me gag every time I had to empty the bag. There was never any gas that was not putrid smelling, you have to "burp" them on a regular basis or they blow up like a balloon. My experience is that the colon "mellows" these smells to a large degree.
They did there best to try and talk me into not reversing the last colostomy I had. I may have problems with digestion now that I wouldn't have with the bag but I'll take not being able to eat during the day over carrying a bag of crap on my side any day!
:rotfl: :rotfl: I'm seeing the same thing here in central Mississippi, they all have their parkas on with scarves and gloves, it dropped below 32 degrees!
I'm walking around with a short sleeve shirt on and getting looked at like I'm crazy! :rotfl:
I lived in the Philippines for almost 2 years for a company and whenever it got down near 85 or so, they'd all start wearing sweaters and start getting worried about colds and stuff. I'd be like "it's freakin 85 for gosh sakes!!!"....
