I've noticed we are kind of short on photos and other interesting things to look at while cruising around in here. Let's keep it clean guys but go ahead and post anything that catches your eye ie, rifles, signs, animals, funny photos, anything (within reason) that others might find as interesting as you did while browsing or even taking photos yourself.

Those are some good ones. My father worked on the SPIW system for Honeywell back in the 60's. they were involved in projectile design. He could never talk about it until it became declassified in the early 90's. they were working on some wild stuff. Take a look at the book "Future Weapons" by Kevin Dockery. There is quite a bit about the AR10 and AR15 as well. It's available as an IPad book. Don't know about Kindle.

I have never quite understood the army's infatuation with the concept of shooting darts at people, they are still trying to make the flechette thing work.
