Hey gang, been busy as a one arm wall paper hanger lately and not on the PC. The Mrs had surgery, family was in town to help for a month, laptop crashed, and now one of our dog's is on his way to checking out. 
Seems like s#!t hits the fan all at once.
Now that most of that BS is straightened out, I figured it was time to get caught up on things...after all...Nov (election) will be here before ya know it. Want to have a majority of the project's wrapped up before then.
The AR10...
Bob, still haven't had the chance to shoot that 16" upper yet. I had some time to "myself" the first week of May. One of the fellas on the fire dept got some time off at the last minute and wanted to go pig hunting. Since he was the one to dig all the bump feeders last year, no was not really an option...so off we went.
Nevertheless, grabbed the AR15 I built last year...
Cracked a 250lb snooter right in the melon. Spun him round right where he stood...and that was the end of it. That Hornady 55gr SP ammo worked great.
We ended up with 100# of sausage, tenderloin and pork ribs. The pigs are probably related to the original Fernado De Soto Spanish hog's from years ago.
We have lot's of pics of them...
This fall the AR10 will be doing the job, I don't like to worry if the .223 has enough smack to get the job done, if the shot is off a bit.
I have an optics thread coming...and will check on that in a bit.
Hope everyone has been doing well, and shooting straight. It's been a sauna out there...stay cool.
