Now THIS thing looks intriguing.. I shoulda known better than to go looking around when I had pretty much made my mind up.

Guys, take a look at this thing and their site, do some searches and let me know what you think of this thing...

Definitely interesting design... like an AR15/AK variant...

I need to know everything there is on this thing if anyone has time... My money for my wife's rifle is alllllmost in hand and this will be my last research before I make a buy...

I Likeum verrry much.
Cal sais .762, Imbe a guessing X 39 which wood be a nice cal for a Lady, not muchum recoil onum that round.
Nice looking Rifle, I like the hand guards, but, hand gaurd might be too muchum big for wifeys hand. is other affer markit hand guards available to fitum wifeys hand, or, a one a them handles for forwards hand guard might be gud tooo.
Ammo still available and not so expensive to shoot too.

I'm always skeptical of something that claims to do everything. Looks like lots of parts for one. As far as changing calibers, sure they change parts fast but you'll have to re-zero each time. A dedicated upper makes more sense to me.
All the reviews I've seen are old;

www.thehighroad.org/archive/index.php/t-410621.html

Take them for what there worth but they had issues with customer service some years back judging by these threads.

Dadgummmm, that thing is simply amazing.
I could`nt believe how the barrel unclips, mag well, add a different mag well and barrel and simply switch calibers.
Nice, very nice.
Had a list of calibers that it could be switched to, .22 LR up to the 50 cal Beowolf.

Or jump from a .22 right up to a .450 Thumper...lol

Actually though, the change-over capabilities are nice but I primarily would like it for the 7.62x39 and maybe a conversion to the 556 but that would be it. I've got other stuff for, well, the other stuff...lol

JT's post has got me thinking now though. This is gonna take some footwork I think...

MGI has been around for a long while. the ability to make use of AK mags is certainly attractive from a price point but I have no first hand experience with these guys.

Just the fact that they've been around for a long time and NONE of us have heard of them says something right there.

If it really WAS all they claim it to be and worked well, you'd think these things would be a bit more popular.

I always do my best to talk myself OUT of stuff until I find something that tells me to do otherwise.... :)
