AR10 TBNF Sight Question

Hello all. I am new to the group and have a question. I have a TBFN on the way. I want a carry handle/sight combo with 1/4" E and W adjustments. But on the Armalite webite it only shows a handle/sight combo with 1/2" adjustments for my gun:

The national match combo says it is for the national match gun only. Can I get a handle only and add the 1/4 NM kit to it? What is the difference between the NM gun and mine which requires the different set up.

I'm looking at the sights on the site and can't imagine why you would not be able to use it.
They do indeed give a different part number for the NM upper, but it has the exact same description as all the other flat top 10 uppers. A call to armalite may be in order just to clarify.

I think I may have found you one...not entirely sure if is compatible but you can call them and find out....

On their NM sights...click on which one you want...they have a 1/4 x 1/4.

Welcome to the site, Steve. Here's a link to the AR10 NM from Armalite's website:

The Armalite NM AR10 is set up for Service Rifle competition, which goes out to 1000 yds.

Look at the photo of the upper receiver in between the product description and the rifle's specs. Just behind the pic rail, you will see a circular recess. This recess gives the rear sight's elevating drum additional space IOT allow the shooter to set his/her sights out to 1000 yds.

The carry handle will work on your AR10, however you won't be able to adjust the rear sight's elevation to the fullest extent it's capable of.

Thanks for clearing that up LebbenB. I looked high and low for that info and didn't find it.
I may have to score one of those uppers. I don't have one cut like that.
