mags -20 round was created by Turbo V6 Camaro
midway has 20 round DPMS mags in stock Limit 2

I picked up one because i don't have a need for 30 mags but i did want one more

Since Im newbie to the bigbore AR , I though I read somewhere that DPMS magazines were different somehow than Armalite is this true. Thank you for any info.

Yes. Although I don't have any first hand experience with them, it is my understanding that they are NOT compatible.

They work in the NEW 2012+ Armalite (AR-10A) the OLD (AR-10B), before 2012 YOU MUST USE armalite mags

infact the new ones are shipped with 20 round p-mags and i have used a DPMS mag when i fired it and it worked fine i keep my 20 round in the DPMS mag in case i need to use it lol i leave the pmag empty

No one thinks that at all Turbo. I know Colt mentioned that certain mags WOULD work with the A model but not the B and there are at least a couple of threads about them but I'm trying to pay more attention to the wife today than the forum - I'm in here checking threads on her birthday...lol

i know no one thinks that but i think it makes the internet and forum better when there is a reference to what the person is saying, it give more credibility to it, that way your not taking my word for it.
