Shot a box of ZQ1 7.62 ammo from Walmart today. it is said to be NATO M80 ball spec ammo but the box is very light on info. I only shot a 20 round box but there were no issues. After a couple adjustments on the scope I got a 1 1/4 inch 5 shot group at 100 yards. Shot with my AR-10, Bushnell 2.5x10 Elite 4200, with nothing but an Atlas bipod and my shoulder. I'm betting with some bench bags it could do better, a new scope mount might negate the need for the adjustments every time I set up. Not bad though for just over $16 a box with tax.

Here is a video I ran across that shows the box, threw mine away before I thought about a picture.
Looks like decent stuff JT and the price is also doable. I'm beginning to see ammo stock on the increase in my area and prices are beginning to drop some too...

I`ll have to go and see what the walmart here has, as much as I do`nt like going into the store.
Hey N.F; for some reason unbeknownst to Me, I clicked on the X at J.T.s "Thank You" that You had posted and Your "Thank You" disappeared. You might want to check and see if it is still in there from Your cornfuzor, add it back in if it is`nt.
OH well, I`ll need to go to wally-world anyways, I am in need of some more rattlin rapallas that are painted like a perch. Them pikes really like those things. :rotfl:
My Wally World finally got it. For $9.99 a box of 20. Now it says "Guaranteed to shoot 1 MOA at 100 yards" We shall see, but it is clean looking with annealed cases, and laquer sealed primers. If it shoots good, I will be buying them out and stocking up. Picked up 140 rounds, all they had on the shelf.
Not dirty at all. I do not see any real difference from other M80 ball Ammo.
They have a version packaged under the Guardian name for something like 45 cents a round on the MKE website. Same M80 specs so it should be fine as well.
Anyone every try the "ATOMIC" ammo? I've seen them on Cheaper Than Dirt and other places. Appears to be cheaper than a lot of other brands and I think it's American made.
I have a bunch of ZQ1 ammo, but I am in the habit of putting ammo I just buy in the back of the cabinet, and I don't let myself shoot it until I have used up the older stuff. You know, the "rotate stock to preserve freshness" grocery store thing, so I haven't shot it yet.
