AR-10T and M-15T barrel dimensions.

I need to confirm some barrel dimensions. I can just mike my AR-10TU but I'm not sure if the M-15T profiles are the same.

I'm talking to Lothar Walther about having 20" 22lr and 6.5 gren barrels made for a couple M-15T style upper builds and a 6.5 Creedmoor AR-10 Upper build.

I'm planning on using Mega uppers for the M-15 and an AR-10T upper for the AR-10T.

I'm most excited about the 22lr, cheap practice on a rifle that duplicates that T series feel.

O... What are the barrel profile dimensions for the M-15T and are they the same for the AR-10T?

In a way,......yes.
Target,
Heavy
Medium
Light weight

The profiles will be close to being the same, but weights will be different, as well as external deminsions.

I'm looking specifically for the dimensions Armalite uses for the barrels of T series rifles I know the 10T and can measure the barrel on my AR-10TU.

I just want to know if the T series M-15 is the same profile under the handguards, gas block and in front of the gas block as the 10T.

Those two barrels should be darn close to each other. I think 1.10" under the handguard, .875 at the gas block.

Not sure if I remember the measurements correctly, but the two barrels should be very similar.

Yeay numbers! I did look at that already and it only lists the barrel dimension under the gas block, .750 and .875

I think the M-15T and AR-10T are the same. I'm looking to duplicate the feel of my AR-10TU so I think I'll just copy that profile.

However these will be handy numbers for punching settings into my ballistic calculators.

DISTANCE FROM BORE CENTERLINE TO TOP OF PICATINNY RAIL OF UPPER RECEIVER

•M-15 – 1.213”
•AR-10 – 1.318”

The M15T barrel is .875 at the block

The centerline measurement is due to receiver sizing
