Just sold a 99 F150, not a powerstroke. I am a Ram guy now.

I am a Ram guy now.

My MAN!!! You can't see it, but right now I'm giving you the international sign for Heavy Metal.

The 7.3 Powerstroke was the best diesel that Ford ever made. They've been lost ever since. Around here, what most folks do with the 6.0 and the 6.4 is run an EGR bypass to get those motors to run right.

The new 6.7 Powerstroke is a maintenance nightmare. In order to get to the motor, the cab has to come off the truck.

Of all the vehicles I have ever had, Only 2 I have had genuine affection for. An AWD Dodge Charger which was my last company car, and my current Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi. Next vehicle will be a 2500 or 3500 Diesel Ramjust won't be able to afford a new one.

Being a diesel nut is all about torque, boost, and egts. The truck is just an accessory we use to carry the engine around. I've got nothing but obscene urges for the 7.3 & the 6bt, the rest is trivial. One other thing that is an absolute is 4 doors. Once you go crew cab, you can never go back.

You can bet your house I'd love an old cummins 3500 megacab as much as I'd love an old F350 crewcab.

I need a diesel for the torque to snowplow where I live. Although I am seriously thinking of becoming a snowbird.

My Brother-in-law had his Ram 2500 crew cab "tweaked". Lift kit, EGR removed, and another turbo with a HUGE cooler added. He won't say what he spent but my sister still snarls when you bring up "the truck". He deserves the truck being a Submariner for over 25 years now!
I can't remember the numbers but I'll never forget being set back in my seat just like a souped up GTO I road in as a kid!
