Thank you for your work on this website - I'm enjoying it.
I've got an old Armalite/Fairchild promotional video (.wmv format) the group may enjoy. It appears to have been made by Armalite in the 1950s to show off their new AR-10 to the military decision-makers. It gives some development history, description of materials, and shows the torture-tests the rifle successfully passed - mud, freezing, sand, etc. Pretty cool. If you're interested, I'll attempt to send it. It's about 38 megs, though. Is that within limits?
Yep - that's the one. Made me proud to be an AR-10 owner. If the changes they've done since then are actually improvements, it's got to be a fine rifle indeed.

Hey,
Saw Fairchild AR-10 vids on youtube, were those the same ones?
I have to agree on the music, it does remind me of high school. As for the belt feeding, that rifle has a few features ours don't. After watching it several times, to see for my self, and like crux said "I thought that was very cool" I notice that it had two other doors, or ports if you will, (not sure what to call them) that ours lack. Sure would like to try it though.
