I'm sure we all do at least SOME cooking and just wondering what you consider to be your absolute BEST thing to make is.
I cook all of our steaks, fish and egg dishes and most of the pasta dishes and make one HELL of a white clam sauce but I would have to say the ONE thing I make that people rave about would be my Clam Chowder.
Recipe available upon special request for anyone looking to try some...
I'm gonna be making another batch soon since I'm jonesin big time for it...
What do you guys pride yourselves on as your very BEST meal to cook?
 now you got me hungry! My wife would say it is my oven maple sugar glazed steelhead. I like my garlic and feta cheese stuffed leg of lamb. Or my brisket, or my Shredded pork shoulder barbeque. Nah, my favorite is my Argentine style wood fired steak, with my home made chimmichurri.
I do most of the cooking here not because she can't cook, but because she gets busy doing other things and forgets about the cooking part. So having said that I have to say my best dish the one evryone ask for Lasagna a recipe I got from a girlfriend in Iceland. Yes I said Iceland she was head chef at the Hotel Reykjavik and we met when Presadent Regan did the peace talks there. I was the lucky guy to get duty for the kicthen dock, I had to seach every thing that came in
Ribeye. About 2 inches thick rubbed down with just salt & pepper in butter.
Fast seared over blazing hot coals with a pinch of mesquite and handful of hickory shavings thrown on just before the meat goes on. Flipped only once for the sear, then once more over the lower heat to bring the center to a hot sweet juicy pink.
Don't even need a knife to eat eat it, just pulls off on the fork.

A man after my own heart. If you get flareups, try sprinkling some beer over the meat and fire. The carbonation puts the grease fire out, and the beer adds a nice flavor to the meat.
