7.62mm prototype A-91 bullpup assault rifle, as made in mid-1990s. Note unusual position of the integral 40mm grenade launcher, which is mounted above the barrel.
I could see the marketing blurb now, "The NEW AKM! Now with even shittier ergonomics and a grenade launcher that's as dangerous to the user as it is to the target.Get yours NOW!"

AAI Advanced Combat Rifle entry ten years ago. Shoots a flèchette about 5,000 feet per second. Originated in research on the SPIW Special Purpose Individual Weapon in the Vietnam war. Was found to be too prone to deflection.
They kinda sorta do make that mag for the AR10. Beta-c mag for the M1A modified to fit. reliability is horrid for those that have done it, and of course they always cry about the weight..
Honestly, if I could get a reliable 100round mag for an ar10, I'd start a build project around it. cuz ya know I gotta make brass for reloading somehow. right?
Absolutely. I wouldn't buy anything unless I knew it had already been proven as reliable. I'm pretty mechanical I spose but have no shop or anywhere to work on adapting anything for the time being so it's gotta be right BEFORE I buy it at this point.
I've also got to get in to reloading sometime here but right now, hell, I'll be happy just to make it through Christmas and still be able to buy gas never mind buying all the stuff I need to start reloading AND finding someone nearby who can give me some classes
I'm just keeping my eyes open for deals at this point... not to mention shamelessly saying so...
