Should work good. the propane BBQ grill, I have one of those grill scrubbers, wire brush device that You fill the handle with water, get the grill good and hot, turn the little valve ot the on position and, scrub, grill becomes instantly clean.
Things is moving fast now.

Go to the GM or Ford dealer's parts counter. Ask for a can of carburetor cleaner. Not the spray stuff, but the liquid. Place this in a plastic container. Insert the device in the cleaner and soak overnight. Wake up to a carbon free device. Strain and put the cleaner back in the can.
Been using the same can on devices and AR bolts for three years. Nu scrumming, no removing the device. Easy peasy!
